Frequently Asked Questions

 Getting Started

Evented is an absolutely free event-finding mobile app to explore the best events around you. You can download the Evented App iOS and Android versions for free.
You need Android Version 2.2 or higher to use Evented app on your Android device. For iOS, the minimum requirement is iOS Version 7.0.
The basic app takes around 4 MB of space for the Android version and around 13 MB of space for the iOS version.
When you login to Evented, you will see the default Activity screen which displays the various event-related activities and updates of you, your followers and the users you follow.
To log out, simply navigate to Accounts option on the main menu and deep press on the profile name you want to log out of. Please note that the app keeps you logged in for all your other profiles on Evented.

 Searching & Sharing Events

On the main menu, tap on the Discover option that displays a list of events based on your current location and day. You may also explore events using the Filter option on the main menu that allows you to perform a category-based search and also select a location and date to further refine the search results.
Simply tap on any event name to open the Event Details screen to view the complete details. The Event Details screen displays the event title, start and end date, description, photos, category, location, web links, etc.
Yes. On the Event Details screen, just tap on the dropdown icon and choose the Edit option to update the event details. Now edit the details and then tap on the Update button at the bottom of the screen.
Yes. Just access the main menu and tap on the Past Events option to view a list of events whose end date has expired. You can reactivate a past event anytime by simply updating the event date and time and publishing it again.
Access the main menu and tap on Settings and then tap on Profile. Now tap on the Delete Profile option to delete your profile.

 Publishing Events, Inactive Events

On the Activity screen, tap on the calendar icon to access the Create Event screen. Now enter the event details such as the title, description, photo, category, start and end date, location and privacy option and tap on the Create button.
Such events can be viewed in the Past Events section of the main menu, which displays all the expired events. You can reactivate a past event created by you anytime by simply updating the event date and time and publishing it again.
Access the Events Details screen of the event you want to delete. Now tap on the Delete button at the bottom of the screen to delete the event. Or, on the Activity screen, tap on the event name on the post you have created and the Event Details screen opens up. Now tap on the dropdown icon and select the Delete option to delete your event.
The Activity screen is the default screen when you login to Evented. The screen displays the various event-related activities of you, your followers and the people you follow. You see an update on the Activity screen when a new event is added or updated, a post is added, an event is shared, someone in your followers list is attending an event, a profile photo is updated, etc.

 Profile & Account Settings

Access the main menu and tap on Settings and then select the Profile option. Now tap on the Edit icon to display the Edit Profile screen. You can edit your profile-related details like your display name, username, profile picture, email and password.
Access the main menu and tap on Profile. Now tap on the Edit icon to display the Edit Profile screen. You can now tap on the Change Password option to access the Reset Password screen.
On the Create Event screen, you can set a reminder for yourself by selecting the date and time at the bottom of the screen. Also, you can set a reminder for other events by accessing the Event Details page and tapping on Remind Me Later button at the bottom of the screen.
On the main menu, tap on the Settings option and then tap on Notifications. You can now update the activities for which you want to receive a notification on Evented.
Simply access the main menu and tap on Accounts. A list of all your added profiles is displayed. Now tap on the profile name you want to use on your account on Evented

 Polling & Statistics

Evented app lets you engage your followers by creating a poll question quickly and easily. To create a poll question, just tap on the Poll icon on the top right of Event Details screen and then tap on Poll. Now tap on the Add icon at the top right of the screen to enter the poll question and the answer options and then tap on the Create Poll button. Your poll question is now live and your event followers can respond to it in real time!
You can edit your poll question as long as none of the followers have responded to the poll question. You can hide the poll question anytime by selecting the Deactivate option from the dropdown list against each poll question. Just follow the same steps if you wish to activate the poll question again.
To access the poll results and event stats, tap on the Poll icon on the top right of Event Details screen and then tap on Stats. The statistical data for the event as well as the event posts is displayed here. The overall stats for the event are displayed by default. To view the stats for the posts, just tap on the Post tab towards the bottom of the screen. If you are the admin of the event, you can view the poll stats directly by tapping on the poll question itself.

 Miscellaneous

No. Once you delete an event, all the details related to the event are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.
If you want to report a problem, have an idea or a question or just want to give us a feedback, you can do so by tapping on the Feedback option on the main menu. Select the type of feedback and enter the details in the given area and then tap on Submit.
Currently we are working on the Advertisement feature and plan to launch the update in the next version of the Evented app.
